01How it works

From a photo on the street to a fix you can check.

One complaint, three chapters. Here is what happens after you report a problem.

  1. Report with context

Add a photo and describe what you see. AI suggests a category, the responsible department and a short summary, and you can edit every suggestion before you send it. Then confirm the exact spot on the map.

    • Photo and description
    • Editable AI suggestions
    • Confirmed map location
  2. Follow the work

Your complaint is assigned to the department responsible for it. Officers post updates as the work moves, and every step appears on one clear timeline.

    • Department assignment
    • Officer updates
    • Complaint timeline
  3. Review the outcome

When the work is marked complete, the officer attaches completion evidence, such as before and after photos. You review it and confirm whether the problem is actually resolved.

    • Verification by you, the reporting citizen

JanDrishti places published information and residents' observations side by side. It does not audit spending, detect wrongdoing or measure construction progress from photos.

04Privacy and evidence

Your identity stays hidden from other citizens.

Other residents see the problem you reported and where it is, not your name or contact details.

  • Authorised staff can see who reported

Officers and administrators handling your complaint can access your identity so they can follow up with you.

  • What you share can still identify you

A face, a name, a house number or a vehicle plate visible in a photo, or written in a description, can identify you. Check before you submit.

  • Integrity checks show whether a file changed

Evidence files are checked for changes after upload. A passing check means the file has not been altered. It does not prove that what the file shows is true.
